mirage62 0 #1 September 12, 2014 I know there are tons of Fox haters here, for the most part I think they are all full of shit to a degree. But it sure seems that a lot of people watch Fox for the news. Quote President Obama talking in prime time is good for the TV business, especially Fox News. Nielsen Media Research numbers just out showed that Fox annihilated the competition, CNN and MSNBC, during the 15-minute Obama speech. FOX: 4,447,000 total viewers. MSNBC: 1,890,000. Interesting it didn't give the CNN numbers. Maybe it's BS. I'm sure the Fox haters can prove that it is.Kevin Keenan is my hero, a double FUP, he does so much with so little
CanuckInUSA 0 #2 September 12, 2014 It was the same speech no matter what channel someone watched it on. Instead of worrying about what channel people tuned into, let's talk about the content of the speech and well it was pretty much a speech about nothing. It was a speech of talking points that contradicted each other. It was a joke ... anyone who believes in what was said during this speech might be interested in a really nice scenic beach front time share opportunity in Bangladesh during the months of June through October I have for them. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
quade 4 #3 September 12, 2014 Your argument is specious. Popularity doesn't equal quality. For example, boy bands. Another example might be hamburgers. The top sellers in both categories are nearly indistinguishable from horse shit.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Arvoitus 1 #8 September 13, 2014 You got roughly 50% of the people supporting one team and the other 50% another. One teams gets a single news channel and the other gets like a dozen. Is it any wonder that the single news channel for the other team has more viewers? If you want to compare you gotta combine all the liberals against Fox.Your rights end where my feelings begin. mirage62 0 #10 September 13, 2014 Bill I'm surprised you w attempt such a lame switch and bait. What does American Idol viewership have to do with comparing Fox News and MSNBC viewership of the presidents speech? Nothing. Beneath your abilities. Quade. Your position is much like many on the far right. You basically are saying that all these people who watch Fox just don't know quality. What makes you the determiner of that? Fox MAY be better at marketing but unlike you I just can't find the moral superiority to say there wrong and I'm right.Kevin Keenan is my hero, a double FUP, he does so much with so little

What makes you the determiner of that? No. I'm specifically saying popularity is not an indication of quality. I'm not saying what is or isn't. I'm saying the numbers you've provided don't support any claim that Fox News is "better" news. You're "evidence"; isn't.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

mirage62 0 #16 September 14, 2014 I'd say you were full of crap. I did not say or saddest Fox was better at News. You mis-quoted in your haste, just man up. Argue that their marketing sucks because I did suggest that. Basically you have a outstanding need to argue your point, you seem to lack the ability to read or listen to others. Many, many more people selected Fox to watch the president speech. You have no answer other than to say people that Fox are misguided.Kevin Keenan is my hero, a double FUP, he does so much with so little

If popularity determines the most worthwhile source of information, then American Idol wins hands down. If you have some other criteria, then perhaps it does not. >Fox MAY be better at marketing but unlike you I just can't find the moral >superiority to say there wrong and I'm right. Uh . . . OK. For the record, I don't think American Idol, FOX News or MSNBC is completely right _or_ wrong. FOX is demonstrably less accurate, but also demonstrably more popular.
