Jon Stewart, when he's not doing complete satire, does some of the best political interviews anywhere these days. Stewart has quite a bit of credibility. RonD1120 62 #5 October 22, 2014 And, CNN apparently even worse than El Rushbo: CNN YANKED FROM DISH NETWORK: WILL 14 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS EVEN NOTICE? http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2014/10/20/dish-cnn-contract-dispute Contract disputes usually get settled and this is, no doubt, a temporary situation. However, what I find amusing is that Turner Broadcasting (CNN) did not have enough clout i.e., viewers and advertising income, to make Dish Network blink.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. jakee 1,500 #8 October 22, 2014 It's OK Ron, you can just admit you don't understand what's being talked about. To make it real simple though, being involved in a contract dispute isn't in the same sphere as being overwhelmingly recognised as talking bollocks. One isn't better or worse than the other, they're different things.Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Andy9o8 2 #10 October 22, 2014 RonD1120It's not about the contract. In the case of Turner and Dish, it really is. That, and a monumental dick-swinging contest between the two. (Seriously.) That aside, the ratings difference between CNN and Fox has a lot do do with demographics. CNN has a comparatively higher proportion of college-educated and white-collar viewers, who tend to watch less TV in the first place, and want their news fast, without lingering. And adding to this dynamic is the increasing number of people who used to trend toward getting their hard news on TV but now get almost all of it on the internet, especially now that internet-friendly smartphones have taken off. On the on the other hand, Foxnews's viewership, for example, has a comparatively higher proportion of blue collar people, those who don't have college educations and retirees, all of whom tend to watch more TV, and also would tend to take the time to linger longer at watching Fox on TV. Al this has little to do with popularity or truthiness than it does demographics.

In other words, you are a practicing Socialist, with no shame at all for your hypocrisy. You rail against Socialism, while partaking of the most socialist programs administered by the US government. That makes you a consummate hypocrite. This ties in perfectly with your profound ignorance on most topics. In summary, you are a perfect example of a Right Wing Conservative. More accurately a Reich Wing Conservative. I sure wish that I could be there when you meet your maker. It would be quite amusing to see you be held to account for your actions and hypocrisy. God is just and doesn't like false Christians. I expect that there is a special place in hell for those souls. I can just picture you saying things like "my tribe had the belief, I just went along with them" and "I was only following orders", while trying to justify yourself and your false religious beliefs. See the attached graphic for more info.
