BillyVance 34 #1 October 25, 2014 http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2014/10/20/alabama-speaker-indicted/17634129/ Note that I am not strictly a Republican or a Democrat. I try to vote for the lesser of two evils, or if there is a viable 3rd option, I'll vote that way too. Alabama has got quite a history of politicians being indicted for corruption or what have you. So does many other states. What I have noticed is a recurring theme. If its a Republican, the Democrats are out to get him/her, and vice-versa. Sometimes I wonder just what is justified and what is politically motivated."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
cengland 0 #2 October 25, 2014 Not hard to figure out. There's 3 reasons people go into politics, it has nothing to do with doing what's best for the people. money power ego and of course the goal is to get elected / re-elected at all costs.
BIGUN 1,300 #3 October 25, 2014 Given the choice of being a plumber or a politician; I'd choose plumber. At last that way, I know I'm going to be in deep shit on occasion and can be prepared for it.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
