Are Republican women really stupid?

Recommended Posts

Yes.

Any female that supports the current iteration of the Republican Party is ignorant of their stated positions, and too stupid to read up on what they are.

Nothing positive for society has ever come to pass by the practical application of Conservative philosophy.

If the Cons had their way, Social Security and Medicare would not exist. Un married adult women would not be able to own real estate in their own names. Un married adult women would not be allowed to take out loans, have credit cards, and maintain an independent credit rating.

The general ignorance of the policies that Cons have supported is amazing. When the facts are shown to, and, key point, understood by, females that support the Cons, the support wavers and goes away.

Knowledge and historical perspective are powerful. Too bad most ignorant people work very hard to stay that way. You see it in the writings here.

So does FOX News.

Fox News Hosts Tell Young Women Not To Vote, Go Back To Tinder And Match.com

Fox News is discouraging young people from voting again, but this time the target is more specific: young women.

"The Five" co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle suggested Tuesday that young women should excuse themselves from voting in the upcoming midterm elections for the same reason that they should be excused from jury duty: because they don't share the same "life experience" as older women and should just go back to playing around on Tinder and Match.com.

"It's the same reason why young women on juries are not a good idea," Guilfoyle said. "They don't get it!"

Earlier in the conversation, co-host Greg Gutfeld made the point that "with age comes wisdom" and the "older you get, the more conservative you get."

In other words: "Hey kids! Hold off a little. You don't have to vote just yet. Wait until you're conservative enough old enough!"

Guilfoyle agreed, suggesting that you can't cast an informed vote until you've gone through adult things, like paying the bills.

"They're [young women] like healthy and hot and running around without a care in the world," she concluded. "They can go back on Tinder or Match.com."

On a previous episode in October, co-host Harris Faulkner also said that young people should stay away from the polls if they "don't know the issues." We've already explained why it's a terrible -- and illogical -- idea to convince young people not to vote. But driving young women away from the polls? Do we even have to get into why that's potentially one of the most damaging and regressive things that could happen to society?

I think it is more of a reflection of the current political climate. It is not just women that will vote against their own interests. poor people do it all the time,

so do business owners, and many other demographic groups.

There are really only two choices in the country most times.

So if you want to see 'change', then your choice is often 'the other party'.

And the billions spent on media to convince you that things are so bad that they 'must change', then many people are so disconnected that they simply vote for the change.

I really do not believe your average American is up on the issues at all. This is not going to change any time soon, given that the people in power more and more get to decide who gets to vote for the people in power.

I have to agree with Rep Ellmers on this one. It's a liberal hatchet job.

If you read the full article and not just the highlighted portions you will know that what she is saying is that the Republican messaging is horrible. They need to spend less time in pie charts and more time in how their policies actually affect women and their families. The same thing could be said about republican messaging to all groups, it just so happens they were talking about women in this interview.

And Kimberly Guilfoyle and Greg Gutfeld were actually talking about how people generally get smarter with life experience. Not everyone knows everything at the age of 18. You don't necessarily have to wait until you are older to vote, but maybe at least look into the issues a little first?

I understand why liberals are attacking these articles. They love low information voters.

>I understand why liberals are attacking these articles.

And I can understand why conservatives are trying to suppress the younger vote. The younger generation is one that grew up with gay rights; it's just not a big deal for them. Gays are just people, not godless criminals with agendas. They grew up learning the science of evolution and climate change. And these things are very toxic issues to the republican party. They can't wholeheartedly embrace evolution or gay rights or they drive their fundamentalist base away. They can't even talk about climate change without losing their biggest contributors. So their best bet is to do everything they can to keep young voters from voting.

These articles didn't say anything about suppressing the vote. Liberals are reading into the articles.

All they are saying (and I feel the same way) is that it's a good idea to know what you are voting for (both the desired outcome and the unintended consequences).

And that the republican party has been doing a lousy job of getting an effective argument out.

But it wouldn't really matter if they did. The left would just Saul Alinsky any attempt at an honest debate anyway, just like they did with the above articles.
