At least they have some reason to validate murder in their little world (not that I agree with it), cops ruin people's days. What do firemen do to the public? Oh, that's right. We pick your granny up off the floor at 3am, treat your injuries, call our buddies in EMS to give you a ride to the ER, or try to stop fire from destroying your property. Unfortunately we have the same problem in the UK albeit with youths throwing stones/bottles (not shooting as in the US examples).
