Dear Abby, Leviticus 3:17 forbids the eating of fat, but I work at KFC. Can I refuse to serve people who order food here? Fat in Indiana Dear Abby, My religion forbids serving women unaccompanied by a male family member. But they always tip so well. Help! Waiter in Indiana Dear Abby, My religion will not allow me to touch a woman in case she's menstruating, but I am a Walmart greeter. Help! Nervous in Indiana Dear Abby, My church believes dark skin is punishment from God. My best player is African American. Should I bounce him? Mormon in Indiana Dear Abby: I work in a seafood restaurant in Indiana. The Bible, every word of which I believe, says nothing about serving shellfish, but makes it very clear that those who eat shellfish should be stoned to death. My question: Do I get to stay on the clock while stoning the customers I just served? Under the new law, I think it should considered part of my job, but my boss says the state should pay me for this, since I'd really just be following state law. wolfriverjoe 1,523 #83 March 29, 2015 Well, I have 2 questions: The Bible clearly states that a "Man laying with another man" is sinful. But I don't know of anywhere that says a woman laying with another woman is wrong. So while it would seem to be in accordance with this stupid law to refuse service to a gay male couple, I can't see how they could refuse service to a lesbian couple. Second: How is it that these people can pick and choose which "sin groups" to refuse service to. The places that want to refuse wedding services (cakes, flowers, ect) to gay couples seem perfectly fine providing services to divorced people who are remarrying. And divorced people who remarry are, by definition, committing adultery. So if someone wants to discriminate against gays using this law, shouldn't they be required to refuse service to "other sinners"?"There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit."
