That said, ya know, if the damage in Baltimore is less than the damage in Ferguson, and other places, then it was an effective idea. Yes, it's best if people don't riot, preferably all sitting on their hands being grateful for how nice all the po-po are to them most of the time. Bowing their heads, saying "sir," and not reacting when being called "boy" are also good.

Great advice to self. However, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and to some extent (I could be in error) New Jersey and North Carolina are considered in the "Mid-Atlantic" region.

Well I posted the quote because it aligned with my opinion, but if you wish for me to break it down for you I will. There are over 500,000 officers in the U.S., and +-1000 major incidents involving death involving firearms. That is a small fraction of police. If you further investigate those incidents and take away those that any person would agree was justified like someone shooting at cops, charging at cops with a knife, ramming people with cars, and holding people hostages those 1000 become less than -+100. So if the people who are rioting actually had the correct numbers on this, and would step back and realize its not ALL COPS that are out there doing bad but a SMALL fraction, and I would hope this rioting bullshit would not occur. But you know what most of the ones doing it dont even care why they are just using this as an excuse to act like thugs, and steal. As it stands they are fed bullshit intel from the inciteful media and those al sharpton types who stand to profit from a good riot, and instead of stepping back and thinking about it for a bit double down on their hatred for cops every time you try to explain it to them. (just like half a dozen here)
