Driver1 0 #27 July 10, 2015 SkyDekker***I sure hope Trump stays in for the duration. Apparently he's worrying the GOP establishment because he actually articulates and exemplifies what the GOP is all about, and they don't want that. He will withdraw before he has to submit his financial disclosure. Trump is in this for attention, that's all. The first time he had a grand socialist health care for all plan, now he is on the tea-party side of the spectrum. The fact he is polling well provides some laughter for those outside of the US. I don't think Trump gives a shit what anybody thinks about his financials. He's got money. Even he's said so. I think he goes as far as he can. There will be no addressing the customers as "Bitches", "Morons" or "Retards"!

Let's say he has been claiming he is worth $10 billion and his financials come out and he is worth "only" $5 billion or less. Is he a liar, or is he an incredibly bad business man who lost 50% of his wealth in the last couple of months?

That would not play well with many of us in the 99%.... although many of the Ayn Randers in the GOP will keep supporting their masters no matter what they do and keep telling those who vote against their own best interests how patriotic they are and support America while sending Americans and Canadian jobs to third world shitholes with no regulations. From WaPo: ============================ Despite GOP pressure, Trump not going away By Steve Peoples | AP July 9 at 6:53 PM WASHINGTON — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says he’s not going away. A day after the Republican National Committee chairman asked the reality television star to tone down his rhetoric, Trump refused to back off his portrayal of Mexican immigrants as criminals. At the same time, he vowed to file paperwork next week ensuring he would qualify for next month’s Republican presidential debate, where his hardline immigration policies could emerge as a focus on national television. Trump said Thursday that his Republican competitor Jeb Bush is “a joke” for suggesting that Mexican immigrants cross the border illegally as “an act of love.” “This has nothing to do with love,” Trump said in an interview airing Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity.” ‘’They are taking people that should be in Mexican prisons, Mexican jails and they are pushing them over to the United States. These are dangerous people.” Republican leaders worry that the outspoken businessman is hurting the party’s standing with minority voters — particularly the nation’s surging Hispanic population — months before voting begins in the 2016 presidential contest. ============================

masterblaster72 0 #48 July 29, 2015 Trump Is the Poison His Party Concocted QuoteThe adults patrolling the playpen of Republican politics are appalled that we’ve become a society where it’s O.K. to make fun of veterans, to call anyone who isn’t rich a loser, to cast an entire group of newly arrived strivers as rapists and shiftless criminals. ... Trump is a byproduct of all the toxic elements Republicans have thrown into their brew over the last decade or so — from birtherism to race-based hatred of immigrants, from nihilists who shut down government to elected officials who shout “You lie!” at their commander in chief. ... “All of our veterans, particularly P.O.W.s, deserve our respect and admiration,” said Jeb Bush. The Republican National Committee was quick to lay down a similar principle, saying, “There is no place in our country for comments that disparage those who have served honorably.” No place except a presidential campaign, that being the 2004 attempt to destroy the honorable Vietnam service of candidate John Kerry. Where was Bush’s “respect and admiration” when his brother was benefiting from a multimillion-dollar smear of a Navy veteran with a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart? The wise men predicted Trump’s demise after he demeaned a former prisoner of war. But polls posted late this week showed Trump still in the lead. How can he get away with bashing combat veterans? Simple: The party he now wants to represent wrote the playbook on it. ... Trump also stoked the humiliating lie about President Obama’s citizenship. He began that crusade, he claimed, because so many Republicans still believe it, and have encouraged him to keep it alive. Now, the only way to trump Trump is to act like a fool in public. So Senator Rand Paul, formerly seen raising good questions about national issues, fired up a chain saw and took it to the tax code a few days ago — a pathetic stunt. And there was Senator Lindsey Graham, flummoxed by Trump’s exposing him as sycophant to a plutocrat, destroying his cellphone in a blender. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
