More than 138 million people, nearly 44% of the U.S. population, live in areas where air pollution reaches dangerously high levels during parts of the year. While exposure to low quality air has declined in recent years, some cities still experience alarming levels of pollution.

Based on “State of the Air,” a report released annually by the American Lung Association (ALA), 24/7 Wall St. reviewed the 10 leading metro areas with the highest levels of year-round particle pollution. The Fresno-Madera, California metro area led the nation with the worst long-term pollution level.

I wasn't talking about you lol I meant whoever runs the website. Whoever created the swipe to read one more paragraph model of webmarketing deserves to be drawn and quartered. :D

It is proper etiquette to hang them first... then get on with the disemboweling...etc.

Clean air and no water...what a winning combination.

That's got to be a lie. The EPA and CARB tell us how all their laws and regulations are working so good WELL that we should be happy for all the extra costs we pay in this state.

Don't they teach the difference between adjectives and adverbs any more?

My spelling and grammar have gone way downhill since the advent of internet forums. Previously, I read mostly published works, which are well edited for such.

Well, naturally the desert regions are going to be high in particulates. They have all that silica blowing around.

It's not just that. Prevailing winds are from the Northwest. So what happens is all the people in San Francisco driving their gas guzzlers simply send their emissions inland. They run into the Central Valley and the Sierras hold them in. It's bad here in Fresno, but it's worst down by Bakersfield and Specifically Oildale

Add to that the amount of particulates put up by agriculture and we have lousy air here. So the Central Calley gets hit with restrictions.

My wife is hotter than your wife.
