-Should she be forced to have her name on homosexual marriage licenses thus promoting even more gross sexual immorality - NO.

Thank you.

It really come down to the fact that you think gay sex is gross.

This has nothing to do with Jesus.

I am just curious why so many on the religious right know so much about what two men might be doing in private....:S

Maybe its all the gay porn they are watching????

I wonder if they watch those before or after the videos that Carly Fiorina recommends they watch.:S:S:S:S

I remember reading of another county clerk or might've been a judge that decided rather then issue marriage licenses to homosexuals they resigned/retired. That was a personal decision.

Kim is trying to impose her personal decision on others. The only reason she hasn't been fired is because it requires state Congress to do so and they're out of session.

FWIW, I have no problems with your decisions you make with your small businesses, but you're also not a government employee.

>But no matter what was forgiven in the past, because she is formerly married
>(that part doesn't go away) she is still committing the sin of adultery by being
>married to her current husband.

That's different. She has a good explanation for why she was married four times and cheated on her husbands. She is a special case, unlike gays who are all the same.

Further evidence the Pope does not subscribe to Davis-style homophobia (Link):

"The day before Pope Francis met anti-gay county clerk Kim Davis in Washington last week, he held a private meeting with a longtime friend from Argentina who has been in a same-sex relationship for 19 years.

Yayo Grassi, an openly gay man, brought his partner, Iwan, as well several other friends to the Vatican Embassy on September 23 for a brief visit with the Pope. A video of the meeting shows Grassi and Francis greeting each other with a warm hug. "

"Grassi said the Pope has long known that he is gay, but has never condemned his sexuality or his same-sex relationship. Grassi said he and Iwan (he declined to disclose his last name due to privacy concerns) also met Francis last year in Rome.

"He has never been judgmental," Grassi said. "He has never said anything negative."

Check out the photo at the top of the page: https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/12/06/568881497/kim-davis-once-denied-him-a-marriage-license-now-kentucky-man-seeks-her-job

That is Kim Davis on the left, and on the right is one of the guys to whom she refused to issue a marriage license. She is processing the election paperwork he is filing to run against her.

I call it discrimination. Who does she think she is to tell people they can't marry, but she's cool with them running for office?
She seems a hateful bitch to me.

It absolutely is discrimination. Just because someone 3000 years ago didn't like it and described it as an abomination in the Bible doesn't mean it has anything to do with morality. It's bigotry and religious extremism to hold her point of view.

It's odd to me that christians are so trusting and believing in the bible, yet hate the US Constitution.
Selective hatred at it's core.
Today's christians, by and large, no longer understand the meaning of morality.
I'm a heathen in their eyes, yet I have higher morals than any christians I know.

Kinda funny that she picks "homosexuality" to be the 'bad thing' that she won't tolerate. That part of the Bible is full of things that folks shouldn't do.

On the list is 'eat pork', 'wear blended fibers', and...

Oh yeah...

Commit Adutery. The penalty for that is being stoned to death.

Kinda convenient of her that she picks and chooses which parts of the Bible are applicable and which aren't. Clearly those "Deeply Held Religious Beliefs" are really deeply held.

Don't forget shellfish and crustaceans, camels, the rock badger, sowing a field with two kinds of seeds, mixing cattle breeds for improved stock, braiding women's hair, wearing gold or pearls...

And don't forget, many of these things require that you be put to death.
