Amazon 7 #76 November 1, 2015 RonD1120My current thinking is that Christians may well experience the Tribulation and rapture afterwards. That applies ESPECIALLY to most "Christians" in this country who listen to their false prophets in their mega churches and do not have a clue what the LORD actually taught OR my personal favorite... screw over every person they meet all week and get absolution on Sunday morning so they can begin another cycle of depravity for the week. Coreeece 2 #77 November 1, 2015 Amazon You need to pay closer attention then because almost all of the social platform of the GOP is soundly grounded in THE BIBLE... From birth control to abortion.... or the Myriad other ways of trying to control women in this society and wanting them to conform to a bronze age patriarchal ethos.... Hobby lobby come to mind for you??? Lol, really? Hobby Lobby, out of a "myriad of other ways" is your big example of some type of imaginary oppressive theocracy? Hobby lobby pays for a variety of contraceptives - you should be thanking them. What they don't do is pay for abortions or abortifacient medication - nothing wrong with that. Also, abortion is a moral issue, not a religious one. AFAIK, the concept of abortion/contraception isn't "soundly grounded in the bible." Even the non-religious and some atheists feel it to be offensive to humanity, especially late-term abortion. AmazonHow about all the fights the gays have had just trying to get the same right to marry the one they love as the rest of us???? I don't think most people had a problem with gays having the same rights as married people, they just had a problem with it being called marriage because it's not the same thing. Originally, I didn't really think it was any of my business and stayed out of it - but now, seeing how people are getting sued and tossed into jail by bigoted liberal hypocrites, I see I was wrong. AmazonHow many people here in SC spout the bullshit that SAUL of TARSUS taught not what his lord taught... he was very well founded in the Jewish form of SHARIA. That was prior to his conversion. The conversion of Saul to Paul would've been like Mahmud Ghazni converting to Mahatma Gandhi. AmazonPerhaps we need to start with that and stone all the sinners who had lobster and shrimp this weekend.... Or can we just publicy stone all the politicians who are ADULTERERS and are on their second or third marriage . How about the one who like trophy bimbo's.. can we stone him???? ...and then you wonder why people don't listen to you.Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
Coreeece 2 #78 November 1, 2015 gowlerk Your theology offers hope only to those who follow your false prophet. It condemns all others. It is a shameful way to look at the world, and it leads you to suppose that your eventual outcome will be somehow better than mine... You might be taking things a bit too personally, eh?Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour

RonD1120 62 #81 November 1, 2015 I just came from a praise and worship service during which we donated somewhere around 500 coats for those in need this winter. I am not personally familiar with those whom you speak. Also, we do not grant absolutions. That sounds like Roman Catholic to me.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. There are other factions that believe all is well as long as they dress up in their "Sunday Best" for the weekly fashion show..... and as long as their butt plops down...... in a pew.. and they drop a wee bit of change in the offerings plate.... that their path to heaven is assured.
