He also "ripped off" Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the film "Apocalypse Now". And IMHO, that is the best Kid Rock video *ever* because it is a pure shot of nostalgia for me. I grew up in Northern IN and MI, and my best buddy had a hobby of restoring wooden boats, and got me into skiing and Jeeps. And just for the record, although the song/video are supposed to be MI, in reality it was filmed in TN."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. The sad thing however is that 30 years later, the people up here are are still "smoking funny things." Last week, a major air carrier on the old base here was to hire 30 new employees. Of the 130 applicants, only 11 passed the drug test - Probably the same morons I always hear bitching about how there are no good jobs in Michigan anymore.Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour

It's a lighthearted tune about going up north and "playing some rock n roll - making love to our favorite song - all summer long." The medley itself implies that those are the popular songs he's talking about. tbrown 26 #282 January 29, 2016 I'm nota Republican, I don't watch their debates, and I'm not voting for any of them. But I'm glad to see they got to have a real issue oriented debate last night, without that asshole making a spectacle of himself. Of course he couldn't get his way, so he took his ball across town and had his own party, all about himself as usual. I wish there were enough toilet paper in the U.S. to wipe him off the front page. The kind of magical ballots that don't actually elect the person you voted for but instead choose someone who (in some states) may or may not vote for the person you wanted? This is one reason I sort of hope Trump and Sanders get their party's nominations. This will guarantee one or more third-party candidates that may actually have a chance and/or expose the electoral college for the mess it is.Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh. This will guarantee one or more third-party candidates that may actually have a chance and/or expose the electoral college for the mess it is. If you REALLY want a "none of the above" large reaction, I'd think Donald vs Hillary would get more traction. Since they are both so hated by a large segment of both sides of the aisle. Bernie will get sympathy because, IMO, at least he's sincere and well intentioned about his agenda - he's not personally hated, just his philosophy causes terror and despair in the hopes of thinkers. People will respond to the sincerity, even if it would cause world wide economic devastation of kind only imagined about in a JJ Abrahmshamalan mind. People are funny that way. Of all the candidates, I'm scared of Hillary, Bernie, Donald, and Cruz. In a very serious way (other Reps I'm scared of never got very far in the first place). So I'm pretty much screwed no matter what happens unless something changes in a big way in either/both parties - not freakin likely. ... Rstanley0312 1 #293 February 3, 2016 quadeAnd "politics ain't ping pong." Early reporting from a PPP pole due out Thursday suggests a big drop in support. PPP is a left leaning polling firm that has been caught doing some "notsogood" things as reported by 538's Nate Silver. That said, I am sure that has stopped since they were called out. They also naled the last poll in Iowa showing Cruz winning by 6 points.Life is all about ass....either you're kicking it, kissing it, working it off, or trying to get a piece of it.
