Correct, but his injunction against deportation is based on his request for asylum.

Is it?

Do you think he would rather spend up to 120 day in an American prison?

He's facing rather more than that.

If he would rather stay in Mexico, I'm sure his conditions in Mexico are looking to be a little better.

So, you're imaging what might be happening in Mexico and you're getting angry at the Mexicans based on that?

Hmmm

Wasn't there some guy that had to jump through hoops and hoops and hoops just because he wanted to turn his truck around?

Seems a little pick and choosey to me.

Seems to me that Tahmooressi didn't intend on bringing firearms into Mexico, but Couch doesn't seem to be under any trouble for that.
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

How on earth does that even relate? How does it seem pick and choosey? Mexico have deportation / extradition laws which they are following. So...?

Did he do that?

Tahmooressi wasn't in trouble for simply possessing weapons but specifically for smuggling them across the border and for them being what Mexico deemed 'military weapons'. Do either of those things apply to Couch?

Guns are guns, aren't they?
