funjumper101 15 #2 August 3, 2016 A whole bunch more of the local baggers have lost their elections in Kansas. http://www.wsj.com/articles/conservative-lawmakers-ousted-in-kansas-election-1470226094 The utter failure of the practical application of Conservative policy produced these results. Voodoo economics has been proven to FAIL over and over again. How many times does it take before conservatives catch on to the reality of the horrendous results their policies produce? The great experiment in actually implementing key Conservative policies in Kansas has been a massive failure. The voters have partially caught on, and started to throw the bums out. "Marshall's supporters argued Huelskamp's combativeness harmed the district. Huelskamp lost his seat on the House Agriculture Committee in 2012; farm groups turned against him, and many Republican voters saw it as a crucial issue in a farm state." Wouldn't draw a bigger conclusion with this obvious explanation. That a guy as disdained as Cruz could be a close runner up in the nomination process suggests that faction still has some legs left, though it may be fair to describe it as the group that is against stuff rather than for anything in particular.
