Lack of information

Recommended Posts

Information in itself is neither good nor bad, it's what's done with it that makes that determination.

Example: In my Drivers Ed book in high school in the early 90s, the drinking and driving information dangers and effects also included a small section on driving drunk such as slowing down and greatly increasing following distances. Also remember watching a movie in middle school about hitchhiking dangers that also included a small piece about how best to do it.

This didn't negate the other information, it helped to give the full picture.

This seems to be something lacking today as people are told something is bad/dangerous/illegal then given no additional information about it.

They use the term education but the "education" only shows one side: Abstinence only "education" is a great example with predictable disasterous results.
Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting
If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

Dude WTF? You're off script. Shouldn't you be posting some sort of "I hate Trump" message here. Come on get with the program. It's what all the cool "enlighten" cats are doing these days.

But if you want some advanced Drivers Ed, here's a little gem of information for you to consume from the racing world that I can pretty much guarantee was not in your Drivers Ed book.

If you want to be fast, you have to go fast.
But you can't go fast, if you can't be fast
.

If you understand this little bit if information from the racing world, it all make sense.

Oops silly me. I was supposed to tell you why if you wanted to be fast, that the only was was to go fast but that if you couldn't go fast then you would never be fast. Now perhaps I neglected to tell you why all this exists because:

1) I want to be faster than you.

or ...

2) I don't want you to know how to be fast, because of point #1.

or ...

3) I am a poor educator the way I portray information.

:)

Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
