We're not, some people in this thread definitely are though. They want to equate the registration of people with the registration of objects (guns). It's a bullshit false equivalency.

For the record though, I have an issue with the registration of people simply via associations. On the other hand, I have no problem whatsoever with the registration of known criminals like serious sex offenders (not just peeing in public) and terrorists. Go for it.

Some of you guys really should read various news papers, watch different news channels to get a clue on [DT]*what the fuck is going on*[/DT] ...

Besides national news channels, watching f. e. EuroNews, CNN, BBC, Sky News, even CCTV, Al Jazeera etc. gives (me and my ilk) so much more insight (same refers to news papers).

And, how about learning one or two alien languages? Could help a lot in the outside world .... Mandarin is really a challenge, my youngest is quite good in it and I'm trying hard not to be left behind.
