Gotta see Mueller's post, throwing some pretty subtle shade that Trump's people will call their discovery of Manafort's tampering a "tampering trap". That's right Marc, we now understand that any form of investigation is somehow an illegal act.

I love the one below that, referencing Nixon.

******Mueller Accuses Paul Manafort of Attempted Witness Tampering

Yet another credible report from The New York Times. Congratulations for parroting left narrative.

I’m not sure if you legitimately believe the shit you post or if you’ve just been taking pleasure in trolling here all this time...Either way, I honestly feel sorry for you

You can feel anyway you want. I honestly don't care.

This Russia investigation is a joke.

But since all you must pay attention to is the main stream media, you expose your lack of fact and knowledge.

You should look in a mirror and feel sorry for, and ashamed at what you see.

A joke made, in all aspects, by Trump and his administration.

I've never seen you so willing to criticise the Republicans. It's good progress:)

Clearly an investigation that leads to multiple indictments, guilty pleas and convictions is a joke and a waste of time.

What is wrong with just following the law?

And exactly none of them have anything to do with Trump collusion or Russia. It was illegal investigation to start!

>And exactly none of them have anything to do with Trump collusion or Russia.

Four were Trump campaign members who lied about their dealings with Russia. Three have pled guilty to their crimes.

Thirteen were Russians who were indicted on crimes relating to their efforts to sway the 2016 election for Trump.

Try again!

Why doesn't Trump's administration follow the law?

What law do you think he is not following?

(This should be interesting)

The one that makes the investigation (being carried out by his administration) illegal.

Why doesn't Trump's administration follow the law?

With a government full of Trump appointees working on Trump programs at some point you have to admit the truth: Trump is a deep state liberal plant put there to destroy the GOP.j

I look forward to everyone who was such a Trump supporter back peddling a few years from now because the GOP political fad is to be anti-Trump.

What is wrong with just following the law? Whatever you think about the investigation doesn't take away that Trump campaign officials were guilty of breaking the law.

So, what is wrong with just following the law? You have asked this many times of other people.

Hasn't been answered yet. Now, can somebody tell me what law is Trump not following? Be very specific please!

You said the investigation was illegal. If you don't know why it's illegal, why are you saying it?

To date, all of the accusations being made by the special counsel have nothing to do with the Trump campaign! All the charges were prior to them ever working with Trump! So please tell me if you possibly can, what law was broken so that the special counsel could be started?

The law is very specific. There has to be an identified crime for the special prosecutor to investigate! The date that has not been done! Collusion is not a crime! And you can't point to any statute that states that it is!

Why would I comment on that if the investigation hasn't finished yet.

Aren't you the one always saying how we should wait for all the facts to come out. Or is that only in cases where black people get shot?

Why did the president hire so many people who turn out to be criminals?Wasn't his main selling point that he was the best judge of people and would only hire the best people?

I’m just wondering why Ken Starr had so much leeway on Whitewater (which yielded no indictments on its original “crime” but was also a fishing expedition). But maybe it’s not parallel because, after all, Clinton.

Well, kinda.

In legal terms; it is often referred to as "conspiracy." Collusion is the descriptive word the news media has settled on and they really need to quit using the word, cause its throwing things off. Let's call it what it is - Alleged conspiracy.

Collusion;
noun. secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy, especially in order to cheat or deceive others. Every dictionary has a similar paraphrase.

As to conspiracy statutes:

18 USC 371) - conspiring to violate several potentially applicable laws like:
18 USC 1030 - fraud and related activity in connection with computers
18 USC 1343 - wire fraud
52 USC 30121 - contributions and donations by foreign nationals (not necessarily financial)
18 USC 2381 - “aid and comfort” to our enemies. The form of collusion - better known as treason. (its held up in court during non-declared wars).

I know what you're going to say - but, the bottom line is... we're going to have to let this play out and take it from there. There's only two ways it can go.
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

>what law was broken so that the special counsel could be started?

You do realize that investigations are started to SEE if anyone broke the law, right? If a crime is proven there's no investigation.

In any case, the special counsel was tasked to investigate whether there was any election fraud (which is a crime) specifically colluding with Russia to affect the outcome of the election. In the case of Manafort, the directive to the special counsel was to investigate whether Manafort was working with Russians to influence the election in violation of US law, and for crimes that arose from payments Manafort received from former Ukrainian politicians. Since he has now been indicted for those crimes, clearly that investigation was successful.

The link to the original order appointing Mueller is here:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/17/us/politics/robert-mueller-special-counsel-russia-investigation.html

It includes the phrase:

"The Special Council is authorized to conduct the investigation . . . including any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump, and any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”

When Trump Jr. coordinated a meeting between the campaign and a Russian agent promising dirt on Hillary Clinton, that fell directly within the scope of the investigation. Everything else arose from that.

(I know you don't care about factual information; this is just for other people reading.)

Obstruction of justice is. No one is above the law, no matter what republicans think.

There has been no obstruction.
