If the courts are going to force the sperm donor to make payments they should have some power. For the life of me I can't see how this would work.

I believe there is some merit in this very complicated issue. I once had a client, an airline pilot and sport parachutist, who became suicidal because his girlfriend killed their child through abortion.

It should be a minority vote, because the male tends to have a minority role in the actual pregnancy and birth.
And only rarely does court-ordered child support pay for full support, so saying that if he pays he gets to decide is a little disingenuous.
