Phil1111 1,149 #1 April 5, 2017 Trump to CNN chief: 'I always find a way to get even' President Trump reportedly threatened CNN's president last year in an email, with Trump warning "I always find a way to get even." Trump's email to CNN president Jeff Zucker, reported by the New York Times Wednesday, came after CNN panelists pressed Trump during a presidential debate about the "Access Hollywood" tape that showed him boasting about sexually assaulting women. In the full email, reportedly delivered by Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks, Trump accused Zucker of disloyalty and alluded to further retribution: “Jeff — Too bad you (CNN) couldn’t be honest with how well I did in the debate. The dumbest thing I ever did was get you the job at CNN — you are the most disloyal person. Just remember, I always seem to find a way to get even. Best wishes, Donald J. Trump.” Trump lobbied for Zucker to get CNN's top job in 2012, according to the Times report, although CNN sources disputed that Trump's influence played any role in Zucker's hire. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/327410-trump-to-cnn-boss-i-always-find-a-way-to-get-even

Would you like to make a change? 'Cause if anybody would like to make a change, you won't be having so many jobs, that I can tell you. Your jobs would be, be a whole different story." Way to go, Donald! Threaten to get construction workers fired when they boo at you. That will let you "get even."

I think he was saying that if you want a change (some other president) then construction jobs will continue to decrease just as they have for the last 10-30 years. Anyway, I watched the speech - and overall, it just didn't seem like he really believed what he was saying anymore. During the campaign, I think he really believed what he was saying. That's the secret of sales/compelling - you have to believe. It's like once he became president, he was briefed on the reality of the situation - that we're fucked. What now? He's already admitted that he never cared about or even wanted to talk about 'draining the swamp'. No, I think it's more like once he became president he could go back to not giving a shit about the little people, except to bask in the adulation of the diehards every now and then.Do you want to have an ideagasm?
