Worlds Most Dangerous Man, Debate?

Putin's Russian TV says Donald Trump more dangerous than North Korean leader

Russian state television has no doubt who is unpredictable enough to bring the world to war in the North Korean crisis, and it's not the reclusive communist dictator Kim Jong-Un.

According to Dmitry Kiselyov, the Kremlin's top TV mouthpiece, the riskiest is Donald Trump, the man Russian officials and propagandists hailed just a few weeks ago as just the kind of leader the world needed.

In the latest sign of the Kremlin's abrupt about-face on its erstwhile American hero, Kiselyov pronounced Trump "more dangerous" than his North Korean counterpart.

John McCain says Putin is the 'premier threat' and is more dangerous than ISIS

The Arizona Senator said in an interview that Putin was the 'most important' threat
Said because of mounting evidence the Kremlin had tried to influence the outcome of the US and French elections
Criticized President Trump for not responding to the evidence
Addressed reports about Trump campaign's alleged ties to Russia
'This is becoming more and more bizarre. In fact, you can't make it up,' McCain said

This is playing right into their playbook to be able to say that they weren't actually trying to help Trump in the election while simultaneously discrediting him to an international audience. It gives them much more leverage to be able to say they're not doing the things that they're doing or allows them to say that Trump is a bad-guy so the world shouldn't listen to him when he accuses Russia of wrong-doing.

Sounds like they're having some buyer's remorse. "Wait - we helped an impulsive, shallow leader get elected and he's acting shallow and impulsive? No one could have foreseen this!"

Same as many Americans. They were not as much pro Trump as anti Clinton. In a democracy the people get the leaders they deserve! Too bad America does not use a democratic process to choose it's president.

Everybody seems to think the Russians wanted Donald Trump in office because he would be pro-Russia. I disagree. I think they wanted him in office because they thought his administration would be a total dumpster fire. The Russian's real goal was not getting a particular person elected, it was creating instability and a weakening of America's international strength. They see themselves as rightful equals with the US on the world stage. To realize that, they need to bring the US down a few notches.

So far it looks like they are getting exactly what they wanted.

Agreed. The real question is if they furthermore have/had the ability to manipulate either Trump or those around him.

From CNN today:

=========
Russian government officials discussed having potentially "derogatory" information about then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and some of his top aides in conversations intercepted by US intelligence during the 2016 election, according to two former intelligence officials and a congressional source.

One source described the information as financial in nature and said the discussion centered on whether the Russians had leverage over Trump's inner circle. The source said the intercepted communications suggested to US intelligence that Russians believed "they had the ability to influence the administration through the derogatory information."

You could well be right but to add they knew that they didn't want HRC. She hatred Putin before the election and viewed him exactly like John McCain does.

I'll also add that Putin views Russian strength ads good for his ability to keep the domestic audience in line. To enable him and his kleptocratic buddies still feasting at the trough.

Yep. And the last thing our enemies need is a strong, decisive president who dislikes them. They much prefer the sort of bumbling incompetence they are getting from Trump.

Let's do a quick recap of this administration....

Ill-prepared to govern
Non-stop lies and 180 degree position changes
No significant legislation passed, despite majorities in both houses.
Self-admitted obstruction of justice.
Special prosecutor appointed to investigate ties between campaign and Russia
Self-admitted leaking of classified info.
World leaders openly saying that America can't be trusted
Literally the laughing stock of the world.

Still think Trump is a better choice then Clinton?

Absolutely.

A win scenario for Russia isn't simply having a pro-Russian president in place - that was always the least likely scenario, to be honest.

Destroying faith in the electoral system, widespread unrest and disapproval of the government throughout the country, or simply watching the US economy and international relations tank as a result of ongoing buffoonery would all count as wins for them.

It's hard for me to believe that you and many others don't have a nose so sore that you can even talk. The media leading you around the way they are doing is the most laughable thing I have ever seen in my life if not the most dangerous. Most of what you posted is not evan close to being truthful yet I know you one hundred percent believe it. Therefore I'm just going to keep laughing because that's all I can do

And yes, we are still 1 million percent better off than having a Clinton for a president.

Ahhhhh

More projection.

The only thing I have even close to panic Bill, is the shear crazy left reactions to everything that is going on. And they don't even recognize what the most dangerous thing is that is happening. And you don't seem to either.

Then prove them. You made the accusations.

You got to realize that most of the newspaper articles say in the end they have no evidence.

Ill-prepared to govern

Latest news article I could find on unfilled positions. http://www.cnbc.com/2017/04/24/help-wanted-trump-administration-still-has-hundreds-of-jobs-to-fill.html
Not enough proof? Here's Trumps own words "...I thought it would be easier". Said in an interview with Reuters on April 28th.

Non-stop lies and 180 degree position changes

“I’ve done more than any other president in the first 100 days.”
"I was wiretapped by Obama"
“I am waiting right now for so many people. Hundreds and hundreds of people. And then they’ll say, why isn’t Trump doing this faster? You can’t do it faster, because they’re obstructing. They’re obstructionists." Refer to previous link
“I never said I was going to repeal and replace in the first 61 days.”

As far as policy flip flops...
China as a currency manipulator
Nato
Special prosecutor for Hillary
Syria
Goldman Sachs execs

No significant legislation passed, despite majorities in both houses.

Self-evident

Self-admitted obstruction of justice.

Here's Trump's own words in his interview with Lester Holt...“I was going to fire Comey,” Trump said defiantly. “When I decided to just do it, I said to myself, ‘You know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story.'”

Special prosecutor appointed to investigate ties between campaign and Russia

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-idUSKCN18D1XT

Self-admitted leaking of classified info.

http://www.businessinsider.com/trump-russia-leak-tweets-2017-5/?r=AU&IR=T

World leaders openly saying that America can't be trusted

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2017/05/28/thanks-to-trump-germany-says-it-cant-rely-on-america-what-does-that-mean/?utm_term=.11ad95ada977

Literally the laughing stock of the world

Based on personal testimony. I've done roughly 600 tandems since the election, politics sometimes comes up. Without fail every one laughs when I bring up Trump, and says something along the lines of "what an idiot".

Latest score from Politifact:

True 5%
Mostly True 12%
Half True 15%
Mostly False 20%
False 32%
Pants on Fire 16%

Still the most dishonest president (or presidential candidate) they have ever scored.
