tkhayes 348 #3 May 31, 2017 I am always torn about these climate deals, since i am pretty sure that ZERO countries have ever kept their word on the changes that they promise to make to emissions. What is driving emissions down? money and the development of cheaper energy sources, wind, solar are becoming adn will become more viable, both strategically and economically What is driving emissions up? IMO, the fact that the world population is growing at an out-of-control pace and everyone will eventually want to own a car and live in a 3/2 house with a big screen TV and air conditioning. So it is up to the renewalable industries to make products that are more cost-effective and with any luck the oil industries also join in in other enegry development But we are humans, so no matter what we do, we will likely fuck it all up.
