President Trump's lawyer Marc Kasowitz erupts in profanity-filled emails to stranger

WASHINGTON – President Trump's chief private attorney Marc Kasowitz erupted in a string of profanity-laced emails to a stranger who had urged him to resign from the team that is handling matters related to the ongoing Russia investigations.

In the Wednesday night tirade, Kasowitz first responded to the man, saying: "F--- you.''

Fifteen minutes later, Kasowitz added a second barrage: "How dare you send me an email like that. I'm on you now. You are f--- with me now. Let's see who you are. Watch your back, bitch.''

In the exchange, which was first reported Thursday by ProPublica, Kasowitz appeared to threaten the man, saying, "I already know where you live, I'm on you... You will see me. I promise."

The still-unidentified man at one point offered the retort: "Thank you for the kind reply.'' Though he did forward the threats to the FBI.

Kasowitz's tirade came shortly after a separate ProPublica report saying Trump's lawyer, who is running a four-person team of lawyers on the Russia probes, had not sought a security clearance even though the cases almost certainly involve classified material. Multiple sources told the outlet that Kasowitz's recent issues with alcohol abuse may prevent him from receiving one, though the firm's spokesman has disputed that claim.
