Second, 'The congressional scrutiny at this stage does not mean investigators have concluded any official violated the law or internal regulations.' It seems like this is what Rushmc would usually characterise as a politically motivated investigation rather than a real one. Irony.

I still laugh when I think about Smith's unbelief when he realized that Donald Trump won the election.

it is a decent story. Not sure I would call it investigative journalism. Actually, I am pretty sure I wouldn't.

But I am interested to hear why you think this is a real investigation based on facts and what investigation you are comparing it to that is supposedly based on fake news?
