Bannon interviewed on "60 Minutes"

Recommended Posts

I watched this because in all this time, I've never heard Bannon speak more than a couple words.
BTW When did Charlie Rose get so combative?:o

Several years ago I withdrew from the Republican Party. I do not know exactly what they are. I don't think anyone knows for certain. RINO comes as close as any definition I can attach to them.

I watched about 10 seconds, as far as Bannon representing that "Republicans are trying to nullify the election".

trump ain't a republican. Never has been, never will be.

This is nonsense. While, like any good con-man Trump sways with the wind, but he has identified as Republican in the past and been accepted as such. I'll admit he's also self-identified as "Independent" and "Democratic" before as well and has been accepted as those as well.

However, you'll notice at no other time did a party accept him so much as to run him (actively too and without a floor vote [Priebus]). He identifies as Republican and the Republican leadership accepted that enough to unquestionably nominate him to represent them.

I dunno, man. Where I come from, you break it, you bought it. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.

You -can't- now say he's not a Republican.

Well the stupid games of republicans won them the prize of the WH. A Pyrrhic victory is how the liberals might describe it.

BUT the WH is the final vote on legislation and republicans will deal with the devil until the night of the long knives comes. In this case a minor civil war within the republican party will toss the white nationalists of the trump regime overboard.

But smart politicians like Mitch McConnell, McCain, etc will keep their mouths shut and their powder dry. When trump goes on his weekend trips to seek out his supporters in his "rallies" he is by himself. Its a trump rally not a republican rally.

"You break it you bought it." Nah, this is the modern day USA of Costco and Amazon. You bought it and don't like it, send it back from where it came. Impeachment or not, sooner or later, trump's declining base will signal the time. Recent republican victories:

It shows that patience is the game republicans are currently playing. That ain't stupid, its called politics 101.

Certainly not in the sense that Lincoln, Eisenhower or Reagan would recognize.

I found it quite fascinating to watch the interview.
Many times his facial expression while listening to the question, was as interesting as his answer.

I won't click on anything having to do with that wind-bag. He has nothing to do with the direction this country needs to take and should be ignored like the the political profiteer he is.
