matthewcline 0 #28 August 8, 2006 D. Munoz had a memorial tattoo done by Miami Ink just moments ago in her fathers memory, Pedro Munoz. It was a nice little story, showed Pedro with the "Knights" and his "A" Team in "The Stan".An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! slotperfect 7 #29 August 8, 2006 I caught the tail end of that, saw the tat and knew it was the daughter of a fallen SF soldier - but did not hear her name. Thanks for posting this.Arrive Safely John

SkydiveStMarys 0 #31 August 8, 2006 Saw that too. Did you see Ami's jaw drop when D. introduced Ami to her mother? BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude.
warpedskydiver 0 #32 August 8, 2006 Ah geez Scott, I am sorry for for the fact that Pedro lost his life but glad he went out fighting instead of worse. My condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him.

matthewcline 0 #34 August 8, 2006 Kats comment was better. But the reason I posted the story was because Pedro is such a loved man and in all he did he was a leader at it. I only met him once and new I had met a great man. It was a honor for me just to be in the C-17 during the memorial dives. An Instructors first concern is student safety. kbordson 8 #36 August 8, 2006 I went to the Miami Ink website and tried to find an image of the tatoo.... couldn't find it. Does anyone know what it looked like?
SkydiveStMarys 0 #37 August 8, 2006 It was in the shape of a star. I believe, though I could be wrong that it was a bronze star awarded to him when he was killed. I do KNOW that it was a star/medal of some sort. BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude.

matthewcline 0 #40 August 8, 2006 His Daughter had the Bronze Star he was awarded placed on her upper back just below the Special Forces Crest she has there. The Crest is right at the base of her neck and the Bronze Star is right below it.An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
