Another one gone

Chris was killed yesterday in Bahgdad by an IED. He was a SSGT Paratrooper from Ft. Richardson, Alaska. He had a wife and 2 young daughters.

He was a skydiver here in Alaska, I flew as he made his first freefall.

This sucks.

I saw it in the paper today. Damn! Hard to believe. 2 Alaska skydivers in 6 weeks. God bless their families and their service to our country.

Damn...I lost my best friend and two of my squad mates all to IED's, all at different times, while we were on a tour in Iraq. This is horrible and I'm getting that feeling of helplessness again...when will the killing stop??

My sincerest condolences...I am truly sorry.
