petehill 0 #27 October 16, 2011 Kirk Bastian (aka "Bounce") and the family laid Fonnesbeck to rest yesterday (10-15-11). Funeral was packed, they had to open the extra area to make room. Some good jump stories were told, but the it lasted a solid hour and a half. Now I remember why Frisby never went to the marryin' or the buryin'! jtval 0 #28 October 17, 2011 I never wanted to have to go to the funeral but I was sad that I couldn't make it. I heard that there were some great stories and lots of laughter as well. R.I.P Fonz!My photos My Videos

SStewart 13 #30 November 12, 2011 This is a link to a very touching tribute video to The student Fonz was jumping with. It is also a tribute to James as well and contains actual footage of his last jump. Be forewarned it is a real tear jerker and hard to watch for friends that knew the Fonz. As a video guy who jumped with James for an entire season it is exactly as I remember him. He totally nailed the exit out of the 206 Fly free my friend, we will never forget you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8HnjODfSR8Onward and Upward! baronn 111 #31 November 12, 2011 Was a super nice exit. The guy looked very experienced. the deployment mighta been taking it's time but, didn't look unmanageable. Would sure like to know/see what happened here. seems if it coulda happened to this guy, then it could happen to any of us.
