nikiknucklehead 0 #1 January 23, 2014 I was pointed to this site from the SkyDiving subReddit, in the hopes that someone might remember my dad, Mitch Murphy. He bounced on Nov, 1, 1996, in Brown's Field, San Diego. He was just the biggest, sweetest, most fun-loving, generous guy you'd care to know. I miss him dearly, but am so glad he left this earth happy and doing something he loved. I'm attaching a picture of the two of us from my 16th birthday skydive in Las Vegas. I'd love to hear from you if you happen to remember him. Thank you and blue skies!

SEREJumper 1 #4 January 24, 2014 I didn't know him, but I wish you luck in your quest! We're not fucking flying airplanes are we, no we're flying a glorified kite with no power and it should be flown like one! - Stratostar
rmarshall234 14 #5 January 24, 2014 I didn't know him well but certainly remember him. He really lit up the dropzone when he was around. Exactly as you described him. Those were really fun times and Mitch helped to make it that way.

rmarshall234 14 #7 January 25, 2014 When I read your post this morning I asked my wife Judy, if she remembered him and her immediate response (with a big smile) was YES. I guess he kind of had that effect on people. There should be others here as well. Wishing you the best also.
