I can tell you that they do not always look for skydivers. We are opening a Skyventure in NH and the people that we picked just needed to be fit and have a good attitude. We looked for team players that can play well with others! Orlando prefers to not hire skydivers. You can send your name to Skyventure corporate and ask them to forward your email to the skyventure that you are interested in.

For those who have discussed SkyVenture instructor positions: It's easier to get than you think, it's just about applying at the right time (there might be positions available now). Skydiving experience isn't important. You'll make twice the minimum wage and can expect to fly 50-100 hours per year.

But the 50 hours of tunel time is worth about $32K.

Didn't see it here in the posts, but I just returned from the tunnel in Vegas, and was told it was going to close in May. I guess it was sold, and a casino is going up. I was told this after buying enough time for a free session, but was told I needed to use it before that date. Of course I just popped back in to finish my time...

I had a really good conversation with Omar a few months ago about what to expect as an instructor, and he really spoke openly about the risk versus reward of working in the tunnel.

Honestly, money shouldn't be a priority, it's all about wanting to be part of a great team of people and making the tunnel successful.
