Levin 0 #1 February 27, 2002 never heard of anybody else doing this. you can fly circles around bellyflyers and tandems with the classic. not sure about the skyflyer. push your chest out and keep arms out but high and behind you. 100+mph vertical fallrate is no problem. but because of forward speed all you can do is fly in circles. i wouldn't recommend it on anything more than a 2-way. aerodynamite 0 #3 May 5, 2007 Now when I red the text more carefully I noticet Levin is writing about something else than regular flocking.... Yeah, flying around somebody in freefall isn´t veery wise to do with big flock.- No mercy in the flock! Straighten your legs!!! -
ScottGray 0 #4 May 5, 2007 I have been able to do this with my Tony Suits Aero wingsuit. Verys cool on tracking dives. My brother has done same with his Aero as well. I have had my wingsuit in a 160+ MPH dive, positioning for a tandem pass.WSI-5 / PFI-51 / EGI-112 / S-Fly The Brothers Gray Wing Suit Academy Contact us for first flight and basic flocking courses at your DZ or boogie. www.thebrothersgray.com
chrisgray 0 #5 May 7, 2007 Yes this is alot of fun. Just keep your eyes peeled for all the trackers. Last weekend I had 201MPH on my neptune during my diving approach down to the tracking group. :o Just like Robi says...airspeed equals lift...so pulling out of a steep dive provides lots of lift and drive. Just use it wisely. -Chris-WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
