shadeland 5 #1 February 3, 2018 For retrofitting older risers with only a fabric channel (or a plastic channel) with a metallic channel, what do you charge?
Deyan 36 #2 February 4, 2018 I will charge 10 € only if they are airworthy. In my experience, if the risers are so old that they don't have the hard inserts, they are probably long gone."My belief is that once the doctor whacks you on the butt, all guarantees are off" Jerry Baumchen

texascrw 1 #4 February 5, 2018 Not all new risers automatically come with hard inserts. I have ordered 3 or 4 sets in the last two years that didn't have them. And these were from rig manufacturers, not aftermarket.

texascrw 1 #6 February 5, 2018 I bought two sets each from Rigging Innovations and Parachute Labs and neither came with inserts.
betzilla 56 #7 February 5, 2018 You can get a pair of the metal housings at Para Gear for seven bucks plus shipping (this is crazy-cheap. I used to work at a place that charged like $30 for this exact product, so what you pay will depend where they're sourced), and you'll pay another $5-10 to have them tacked into the channels on the risers.
