Have a Good One Yes, I know. those are the most successful scams. They prey on people who have a high level of desperation, and are willing to try anything. Looking for help here is probably of limited use. I spent some time looking at and Googling this. I could not find any single trustworthy source endorsing it. Just easily faked testimonials. That's why I came to the conclusion I did. Good Luck
wan2doit 6 #9 March 11, 2018 Gotcha - have seen GP, got prescribed xrays and am headed to Orthopedic specialist ASAP + NSAIDs for pain - just sounded good to have a possible natural pain relief minus possible side effects. Thanks for lookin' for some additional info . Just pissed for the loss of tunnel currency this will cause. :)
BigMark 1 #10 March 11, 2018 I have had good results with a natural product called Zostrix, it's not expensive. It took a few weeks of faithful application but it was a godsend. https://www.amazon.com/Zostrix-Relief-Cream-Maximum-Strength/dp/B000F5IEK8/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1520742595&sr=8-3&keywords=zostrix+arthritis+pain+relief+cream
yoink 321 #11 March 11, 2018 *Disclaimer - NOT a medical professional. I'd guess the only thing you can do at home is take anti-inflammatories - probably 600 - 800mg per dose of a standard Ibuprofen, or around 500mg of something stronger like Naproxen (although these will need prescription) depending on what the doc says. That and ice packs - lots of 'em. More serious treatments would be like for any inflammation - steroid injections or finally, surgery. You've just got to rest it and let it heal, I'm afraid. riggerrob 643 #12 March 12, 2018 Yes, cooling with ice is very helpful. When I went for knee surgery, the doctor told me to buy a knee cooler gadget. Basically, you put blocks of ice and some water in an insulated box, then pump the water through hoses and a soft pack pressed to your knee/shoulder/wherever it hurts. The cold immediately slows swelling, spends recovery by two or three weeks and reduces your dependence on pain pills. On the subject of pain pills .... avoid Tylenol because it can damage your liver. JayFitz164 0 #13 March 12, 2018 I have Bursitis in my right shoulder. Orthopedic Dr told me to take 2 Alleve twice a day. It took about 4-5 days for it to build up in my system but by taking Alleve consistently my pain and inflammation has decreased dramatically. I can tell if I forget to take it for a day or two. wan2doit 6 #14 March 13, 2018 Much Thanks to you all for the info offered. Will be using it all in my decision making on this - seems there's never a dull moment in air sports whether indoor or outdoor - always a way to get hurt. ;) BUT it's worth it for the Joy of flying. Many don't get it -
