Westerly 61 #2 August 12, 2018 That would be a nice jump plane. Super high tail. Doors on both sides. Get up to altitude in 4 minutes. Who's thinking what I am thinking? https://resource.alaskaair.net/-/media/Images/pages/travel-info/our-aircraft/aircraft680-q400.ashx?v=

Westerly 61 #4 August 12, 2018 Jumprun speed would be an issue. Getting out at 200 MPH would be brutal. Might make those four way exits rough.
RMK 3 #5 August 12, 2018 On a complete side note, living in the UK, we never see Alaska Airlines planes, so whenever I see a photo of one of their fleet, my first thought is "Why is there a picture of Bob Marley on the tail fin"? Only when I can see the rest of the of the photo, do I realise "Oh, Alaska; it's an Inuit" On the event, I did like the attached photo which was on a pilot forum. riggerrob 643 #8 August 13, 2018 At least this guy had the grace to commit suicide without injuring any innocents. That makes him so much better than religiously-motivated school shooters. If mental illness is the root of so many public suicides, how do we channel that energy into night-timme aerobatics versus school shootings?

Fortunately he didn't hit any of them.
