kallend 2,027 #1 January 22, 2018 Nothing new to see here. It's from a very old bawdy drinking song. There are as many as thirty verses to the song, and many variations of each verse. A typical version, described by James Halliwell in 1849, is: Lavender's blue, dilly dilly, lavender's green, When I am king, dilly dilly, you shall be queen: Who told you so, dilly dilly, who told you so? 'Twas mine own heart, dilly dilly, that told me so. Call up your men, dilly dilly, set them to work, Some with a rake, dilly dilly, some with a fork; Some to make hay, dilly dilly, some to thresh corn, Whilst you and I, dilly dilly, keep ourselves warm. If you should die, dilly dilly, as it may hap, You shall be buried, dilly dilly, under the tap; Who told you so, dilly dilly, pray tell me why? That you might drink, dilly dilly, when you are dry.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

Artists still create "albums", where each song is a piece of a bigger whole. Meant to be listened to in order and in it's entirety. Pop Stars, not so much. And on a slightly different note, my niece and nephew (sister's kids) were visiting a few years back. Mom had a cassette player. The kids (born 03 & 06) had never seen one before. They were fascinated."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." raftman 12 #9 January 25, 2018 A couple years ago in California a suspicious object was found outside a polling place. The police & bomb squad arrived & used a bomb robot to retrieve it. An old guy happened to pass by and recognized the object: an old 8 track tape!
