JohnnyMarko 1 #1 November 13, 2017 Would this be a good reference to give the artist for our beloved 182? Cessna 182 Thanks.
baronn 111 #2 November 13, 2017 Luv the shot. It's a wide body model. The pre'63 narrow body has been the premier jump aircraft simplybecause it's a more efficient platform. Just my .02...
JohnnyMarko 1 #3 November 13, 2017 Maybe this? It's photo 5 in the series if it doesn't direct link to it. And if it isn't clear, I'm going for a straight on shot.
LeeroyJenkins 3 #4 November 13, 2017 Unless the tattoo is really big and or your artist it really good it will look bad. Those references don't have anything to depth.

I'm only going for a head on outline, so depth isn't really a concern for me.

A wide body model is fine. (because that's what I"M used to) But not a three blade prop. An original 182 has a two blade prop. Of course, if it is depicted as a spinning blur it can be anything!Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free. oldwomanc6 60 #10 November 14, 2017 I like the basic silhouette, but you may want to consider some clouds around the plane.lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB
oldwomanc6 60 #11 November 14, 2017 Where on your body are you considering putting this? Far away from your Little Pony? Seems as if they may clash. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB

DougH 270 #15 November 14, 2017 I like it! Add a open swing up door and a jump step, both will be nice subtle details."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
JohnnyMarko 1 #16 November 14, 2017 I’ve got some open space on my arm by my other pieces. My real pieces! The My Little Pony lower back tat was fake :P Thanks to everyone else for the suggestions. I’ll get rid of the wheel pants and maybe add a step. Open door would be cool, but for sizing and where it’s going I think it won’t work. Hopefully I’ll report back Thursday with a photo! ryoder 1,590 #18 November 14, 2017 You know Johnny, if you went with an Twin Otter instead of a Cessna, you could put it on your chest with the propellors centered on your nipples. JohnnyMarko 1 #20 November 17, 2017 Welp, all done! If I remember I’ll post a photo once it heals. So stoked how it came out though. Artist had a real steady hand and nailed the thin straight lines.
