Baby Trump - The Blimp

It should be an embarrassment to all thinking people to have the epitome of the ugly American as President. Thankfully I still have my UK passport.

With the exception of Russia and Israel, displaying a US identity outside US territories may be problematic. See option #5 in the "Sarah Sanders, Feed her, or boot her? " thread.

"It looks suspiciously like travellers are voting with their feet and turning their backs on the US. The potential loss in revenue for the country is significant: Euromonitor figures show British travellers numbered some 4.5 million in 2015 while other fast-growing markets, notably the Chinese (2.5m) and German (2.2m), also look vulnerable. And now there are calls from around the world for tourists to boycott the US. So, should we?"

I'm sure that the UK will provide trump with an appropriate welcome.

We Brits are renowned for our politeness – but even we can't stomach holding a state visit for Donald Trump

The Angry Baby Trump has received final approval:

I'm curious why Trump would even want to visit London. He is roundly mocked here as a half-wit.

He is mocked worldwide as a total wit. Why has the UK not got the message.

Like Trump or not one might concede that he is pretty brave to travel anywhere much less across any of Earth's large ponds considering the level of animosity towards him and the levels of gun violence worldwide.

If he went without the Secret Service, it might imply a modicum of bravery. With them? Not so much.

It's not like he's selling tickets to a concert, or taking public transport. I'm sure he'll be fed well and have a good time.

True - secret service has protected our leaders and others they are assigned to very well since they were formed in 1902 after the 3rd president William McKinley was killed. JFK was the secret service's 1st failure - I was teen and ventured into politics for the 1st time to support him back then but don't have any recollection of the angst, hatred and ridicule of JFK like what is happening with Trump (IMO off the charts) thus my thought that people concede he has a modicum (possibly large) of courage.

Ah dude. I applaud the effort, but you've got a bit turned around. Trump is mocked as a total tit, not a total wit.

To be a wit is a good thing.

Haha what? I think you might have watched Taken too many times.

London currently has an unusually high murder rate of 1.8 (recently driven up by knife crime) whereas Washington is about the safest it's ever been with a murder rate of 18 (with more of them shootings). If you missed the decimal point, that's one-point-eight vs eighteen-point-oh.

If one has to draw a conclusion regarding courage, it would probably be that Trump is coming to London because he's too scared to remain in DC:D

Most of the world thinks he's a fool.

Not so much of a threat towards them, in particular.

Most (as in almost all) of the world has very limited access to guns.

Unless he goes to Syria or something, he's likely to be in the 'near presence' (as in within a mile or so) of far, far, far more guns here in the US than anywhere else in the world.

Most of the 'gun nuts' are Trumpettes. He's not in any real danger from them.

I doubt he's all that brave. I don't think he understands the concept of physical danger. He's been protected his entire life.

So about that? Turns out . . . not so much.

Donald Trump to almost entirely avoid London during UK visit
Meetings with Theresa May and the Queen to be held away from protests in capital

Peter Walker

Fri 6 Jul 2018

Donald Trump will almost entirely avoid London during his four-day visit to the UK next week, Downing Street has said, unveiling an itinerary that is likely to prompt accusations he is trying to avoid planned protests against him.

Lemme guess. You don't recall any anger, hatred, and ridicule of Obama, either, do you?
