Justice Anthony Kennedy to retire from Supreme Court

Recommended Posts

It's more likely he'll nominate Jared the Wonder Boy. After he brings peace to the Middle East, collects his Nobel Prize, and reinvents government, being a Supreme Court Justice should be a walk in the park. :S

Don’t know about peace in the ME or reinventing government but those Nobel’s are pretty easy to come by. Just ask Barry

I sure am happy! Odds are Trump's going to get at least one more after this one. Elections do have consequences:)

Holy moly! I agree with you on something

You know in the end, we all what we think is best for this country! I think if we really sat down and talked over things seem to indicate via posts on this site.

I understand people not agreeing with Trump and not liking his policies. But he is no Hitler!

And he sure as heck ain't the devil isn't many of them here would like to put him out to be.

That said we see the same thing every election cycleB|

But if Trump keeps winning as he has been, the vitriol is going to escalate to a level never-before-seen!

And that's good for the Republicans!

You didn’t have that attitude during Obama’s term. And if I remember rightly, you thought the stonewalling of Merrick Garland was justified.

Remember that we, too, want the best for our country. Hillary does, too. Bernie does, too.

Using R logic...

That is an oxymoron.

Besides, what the Rs do to thwart the 'liberals' is fine and dandy.

What the 'liberals' do to thwart the Rs is traitorous, unfair and wrong.

I think that's something that HRC supporters don't understand. I honestly don't believe that. I believe that she has a personal agenda and the country comes a far second.
I don't throw that out there to say you're wrong, or convince anyone else to believe it. And I'm definitely not going to waste my time trying to explain to others why I believe it. But I just felt like it's an important thing for people to know when they're considering what's what in the US and why some things have gone the way they have because I'm far from the only person who believes it. In fact, I would guess that it's the main reason so many people held their nose and voted Trump.

No doubt she spent her career serving her country benevolently just as a cover for her ulterior motives.

No Wendy, Hillary didn't for sure! I don't know where Bernie is coming from cuz there's no way in hell to pay for all the shit he thinks we should have!

Call Hillary cared about was how rich she was and how much power she had.

Using R logic, the nomination should be halted until the people have spoken in an election.

Uhhhh, the election what we've been talking about is that of the president! The one who nominates the person to the position.

I’m hoping they invoke the “McConnell rule” and hold off on confirmation hearings until after the November elections.

Actually that was the Biden rule. But that rule was in regards to a presidential election. Not a midterm.

That said I would be okay with that. Because I feel that the house and the Senate is going to be more Republican than it is now.

Maybe not the house, but I feel good about the Senate.

And I feel that the issue of another Justice to be picked is going to inspire Republicans to vote!

Bad news for the Democrats.

Wendy, to be fair I fully believe you want the best for this country!

We just have to recognize that we think there are different ways of getting there.

What is her personal agenda?

We've seen what Trump's is, to allow his family and administrators of his businesses to trade off the power of the White House and greatly enrich themselves. The abuse of ethics rules and guidelines so far is genunely staggering, and it's not as if a lot of people didn't see this coming.

What would HRC have done?
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

McConnell's hypocrisy is now plain for all to see.

McConnell plays hardball. As he has said, "winners make policy, losers go home".
Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
