If you chose to join the military why do you deserve discounts and free rides frequently? I thought you were against socialism?

I don't think you know how special active and retired military are treated in the US compared to just about every other country. I continually hear on the radio that that things like home and auto insurance and lines of credit have discounts to veterans. That doesn't happen anywhere else.
Maybe you should give thanks a bit more?

When I lived in the city I took what was available. I worked as a clinician in a liberal environment. I was obedient and subservient.

Now I live in a Christian environment. I pray for guidance and am treated, as far as I can tell, by Christian physicians. Most of them pray with me.
