Bob_Church 7 #1 March 25, 2018 A town in North Carolina is offered a monument commemorating and thanking them and the US for help in WWII. Specifically for supplying military versions of the PBY Catalina and training flight crews. The previous city administration voted to keep it but since then a lot were replaced in the city's election and the new members are leaning against. One thing I've already done is order the book they mention about Project Zebra. I just copy and past the info into an email to our local bookstore. So what do you think, keep the million dollar gift or tell them where to shove it? If they don't want it I'll take it. https://www.npr.org/sections/parallels/2018/03/25/596148097/north-carolina-town-accepts-then-spurns-russian-gift
Bob_Church 7 #2 March 25, 2018 Personally I vote to keep it. Russia, like the US, is a huge country with a lot more aspects to it than Putin just like there's a lot more to the US than Trump. Most if not all of the people involved in this heroic deed are dead but the memory should live on. Someday Putin and Trump will be dead and gone. All of the complaints that people are citing as reasons to reject the monument will be gone with them. The memory of the people who helped defeat the Nazis should not be gone. RonD1120 62 #3 March 26, 2018 I believe they should accept the gift because I believe all communication between the US and Russia is for the common good. I remember how disgusted I was when Obama returned to bust of Winston Churchill to Great Britain. That was just rude. We were allies with both countries during WWII.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them. Don't feel bad because you and Rushmc both get your news feed from Fox. See the separate thread for Fox accuracy statistics. Fact-check: did Obama really remove a Churchill bust from the Oval Office? "The bust in question, by British sculptor Jacob Epstein, was given to President George W Bush by the British government in 2001 and was placed in the Oval Office. But the statue was not donated, it was simply on loan for Bush’s term in office (a loan which the British government decided to extend when Bush was re-elected in 2004). Churchill disappeared from the White House in 2009, when the loan ended at the same time that Obama moved in. So how was the White House able to claim in 2012 that the bust was still there? When writing the blogpost, the then communications director Dan Pfeiffer simply neglected to mention the fact that there are two Churchill busts – the one on loan to Bush from 2001 to 2009, and a second bust which the White House has had since the 1960s and still has to this day – a fact which Pfeiffer later had to clarify in an update at the end of the post. Right, because stealing it would have been so much better. This is a great example of how dangerous your divisive worldview is, with truth being entirely subsumed in favour of the partisan lies that support your team and hurt the country.Do you want to have an ideagasm? BIGUN 1,317 #6 March 26, 2018 Morning, Bob. No vote. IMO; it's up to the people of Elizabeth to decide what they want to do.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Yes I am sure you were very disgusted to hear that news, which of course is completely fake. I am also sure that you have also found a way to not be disgusted by a president fucking a pornstar who reminds him of his daughter.
