It is the reason that you are free to live the life you do. In return for that freedom you are required to allow others the same freedom to live their lives. God Bless AmericaAlways remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
airdvr 210 #27 March 23, 2018 I think it's a natural progression as one ages to look back at 'how things used to be' and wax poetic. I'd love to run away sometimes and hide in the woods too. Ron is fortunate enough to be able to do that. Ron, do you have any children? If so, what do they think of your lifestyle? Please don't dent the planet. billvon 2,995 #28 March 23, 2018 Good list. I'll respond to a few of them: >Our society is drugged, either with Rx or street varieties. Agreed. But that has always been so. Not sure of the solution to that. >We fight for the right to kill our unborn babies instead fighting to be good parents. We fight for both in my experience. >We have thousands of individuals that can't tell if they are male or female. Well, no. We have thousands of individuals who know for sure whether they are male or female; you just disagree with what they see themselves as. Doesn't seem to be much of a problem. >We want to open our borders to murderers, terrorists and freeloaders. No, we want to open our borders to immigrants. Some will be murderers, terrorists and freeloaders. Since as a percentage there are fewer of those in immigrants than there are in US citizens, that will, overall, reduce the incidence of crime. >Our heroes are Hollywood phonies that became celebrities playing characters other than >themselves. And then elect them to president. >Our education system is teaching our children that America is evil and has always been evil. No, it's portraying us more and more accurately. As a country that is usually a force for good, but has at times done some pretty stupid things. That is a good thing; we learn from our mistakes. >We believe that lying, cheating and stealing is OK if you don't get caught. Definitely. And then we elect such people to be president. >We have desensitized human life through porn, video games and entertainment. While I agree that many people get desensitized through those things, I am glad that 99.99% of Americans get desensitized by seeing video portrayals of violence rather than by seeing violence. That hasn't always been true. >The only concerns seem to be that President Trump screwed a porn star, talks to Putin and we > must take guns away from law abiding citizens because criminals and insane people have > guns. Well, no. The concern about Trump is primarily what you listed above - he believes that lying, cheating and stealing are not only OK but make you a hero. He believes that sexual assault is OK if you can get away with it. He believes that building a wall to keep out the needy and the poor is preferable to helping them. >Liberalism is a mental disorder and we will destroy our country with its acceptance. Liberalism is why you are free to post here, why you are free to live in an armed compound isolated from civilization, and why you can worship as you choose. >Last Days? SHTF? Invasion by China, Russia, N. Korea, Iran they all seem possible? Another >civil war? Yep. And far less of a threat than the USSR was during the Bay of Pigs incident. We got through that, too. >America has lost its moral compass. The great experiment is coming to an end. For you, perhaps. For most Americans it will continue and grow as it has for the past 200+ years.

Ron is fortunate enough to be able to do that. Ron, do you have any children? If so, what do they think of your lifestyle? I have four stepchildren. They all agree with our lifestyle change. The oldest was the first to move into the woods. He is in SE GA. The next in line is stuck in the Tampa Bay Area because he is making an incredibly good living, albeit dealing with the stress. He has two daughters to put through college. The oldest had to undergo psychiatric help but seems OK now. Number three is our daughter. She is married to a code writer and lives upper middle class. They have four children. The second oldest doesn't understand being a female, is confused at 20, lives at home and takes college courses online. Their two boys, high school age, cannot relate to adults. They play video games when they are home. The oldest is in relationship with a soldier, loves children. She is our main hope. They rest of that family love the fast paced, non-social interaction and mall shopping the city provides. The third son lives in the fringe in FL. We have intermittent contact. He did not adjust well to his environment. They all have expressed favor and understanding regarding our relocation. The two older sons have partnered with us on the purchase on 9 acres of remote land suitable for farming and hunting with close access to the Atlantic Ocean. It is another fall back location.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them. ryoder 1,590 #30 March 23, 2018 RonD1120 Liberalism is a mental disorder and we will destroy our country with its acceptance. Agreed. Liberalism brought us Social Security & the G.I. Bill under FDR, and Medicare & Medicaid under LBJ. We need to stamp those out!"There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
