wmw999 2,451 #1 February 25, 2018 I was at a Tom Rush concert last night (really great time). He spoke very little on politics, even though he was likely in an extremely liberal crowd as a whole. However, one thing he said was cute. He proposed that our congresscritters could get more work done if they were to spend less time in thoughts and prayers, and in supporting people, if this function were to have a whole US government department devoted to the function. Maybe a single Cabinet-level position. This person (and their small staff) would be charged with researching injustice and disasters, thinking about them, praying for them, and offering supportive thoughts. it would be the Prayers, Thoughts, and Support Department.
