jakee 1,489 #153 November 19, 2017 RonD1120I do not agree with your post. You have drawn incorrect conclusions. That is the only conclusion I can make - because I simply don't believe you could be so naive as to think that because you never used to hear about women being being abused by their bosses that it never used to happen. It has always happened, and back when you weren't hearing about it all the time it was, if anything, probably worse. If you think that abuse of women in the work place is an increasing problem because you're just now hearing about it, then you're living in a dreamworld.Do you want to have an ideagasm? billvon 2,990 #154 November 20, 2017 Local police support women's stories about Moore's behavior. =========================== Retired Alabama officer: Roy Moore rumors treated 'like a joke' BY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 11/19/17 The Hill A former police officer in the Alabama county where Senate candidate Roy Moore (R) worked as an assistant district attorney said the stories about Moore being interested in young girls were treated “like a joke.” “It was a known fact: Roy Moore liked young girls,” Faye Gary, a retired Gadsden police officer, told The New York Times.“It was treated like a joke. That’s just the way it was.” Other local residents told the Times that they also knew about Moore approaching teenage girls, including several that said Moore would often work out at the YMCA gym shirtless. Delores Abney told the paper that Moore would talk to girls that “appeared to be high school on up” in her exercise class, adding that “it just did not look appropriate.” And Janet Reeves, who used to work at a local mall that Moore was known to frequent, said Moore once asked her friend, who was 17 or 18, for her number. “I just thought he was the creepy old guy,” she told the Times. And Glenn Day, who managed two stores at the mall at the time, said security had asked him to let them know if Moore was at the mall. =============================

And 14 year olds look like they're 20 so even if he did it it WASN'T HIS FAULT!" From Business Insider: ============== "I don't know how much these women are getting paid, but I can only believe they’re getting a healthy sum," pastor Earl Wise told the Boston Globe. "How these gals came up with this, I don't know. They must have had some sweet dreams somewhere down the line." "Plus," Wise added, "there are some 14-year-olds, who, the way they look, could pass for 20." ============== Up next: "I never saw her before! And she said she was 16." kallend 2,026 #163 November 23, 2017 By Michael Scherer November 22 at 1:29 PM “According to records the media has not bothered to look at, we’ve been able to find that Corfman’s supposed pickup place was almost a mile away from her mother’s house and would have been across a major thoroughfare,” Ben DuPré, a longtime aide to Moore, said at an event Tuesday in Montgomery. “This is yet another improbable fact in Leigh Corfman’s own words and story that the media has not bothered to investigate.” Corfman and her mother, Nancy, told The Washington Post that they lived at the time on Whittier Street in Gadsden, Ala., around the corner from Alcott Road and Riley Street, where Leigh says she met Moore. Nancy Corfman said she kept that address from 1974 until February 1981, when she relocated with her new husband to a house on Dogwood Circle in Gadsden, which is about a mile away across a major thoroughfare. A police report about property theft published in the Gadsden Times on March 31, 1980, listed Nancy Corfman’s address on Whittier Street. The Post requested documentation to support DuPré’s description of another address on Tuesday, and a spokeswoman for the Moore campaign said she would try to respond. On Wednesday morning, after another request for the information, Brett Doster, a strategist for the Moore campaign, sent an email to The Post. “The Washington Post is a worthless piece of crap that has gone out of its way to railroad Roy Moore,” Doster wrote in an email he described as an “on the record” statement. “There is no need for anyone at the Washington Post to ever reach out to the Roy Moore campaign again because we will not respond to anyone from the Post now or in the future. Happy Thanksgiving.” So the WaPo publishes a story with corroboration of the address details from the police, the Moore campaign denies said detail but when challenged to provide its corroboration replies with insults. I wonder...... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

Phil1111 1,149 #165 November 25, 2017 The NYT, CNN and WP have been named enemies of the president by publishing endless stories. By providing media coverage of the many leaks of lies and wrongdoing of trump. Named so by Breitbart and as such, the Sturmabteilung of the trump presidency. The brownshirts. They provide the misinformation, the counter accusations, the lies, that protect the president. They used the FSB/President Putin playbook to bring about the concepts of fake news, distraction, etc. to label and target facts. With lies. All for political purpose. billvon 2,990 #166 November 25, 2017 The Moore campaign recently refuted the claim of one of his victims by claiming that she lived far away from where she was groped. "According to records the media has not bothered to look at, we’ve been able to find that [Leigh] Corfman’s supposed pickup place was almost a mile away from her mother’s house and would have been across a major thoroughfare. This is yet another improbable fact in Leigh Corfman’s own words and story that the media has not bothered to investigate.” Unfortunately this claim got investigated. Specifically, Corfman's mother said she actually lived next to the place where Leigh was picked up by Moore, and they moved a mile away few years later. Leigh was picked up by Moore in 1979, when she was 13. Nancy Corfman, Leigh's mother, lived near where the pickup occurred from 1974 until 1981. A newspaper clipping in a local paper described a robbery that took place at Corfman's house in 1980, at the "close" address. How did Moore respond to this? Not too hard to guess - "“The Washington Post is a worthless piece of crap that has gone out of its way to railroad Roy Moore. There is no need for anyone at the Washington Post to ever reach out to the Roy Moore campaign again because we will not respond to anyone from the Post now or in the future. Happy Thanksgiving.” So in other words you caught us, so fuck you.
billvon 2,990 #167 November 30, 2017 Roy Moore co-authored a course in 2011 that included the claims that women cannot run for office, and if they do, students in the course have a moral obligation to not vote for them. The course was called "Law and Government: An Introductory Study Course" and was organized by the Vision Forum. Who are they? A misogyinist religious organization that includes the claim that "egalitarian feminism is a false ideology that has bred false doctrine in the church and seduced many believers.” (Egalitarian feminism is the theory that women should have the same rights as men.) What happened to them? Hopefully it will come as no surprise to anyone that they folded after the leader of the forum, Douglas Philips, was revealed to be having an extramarital affair with another woman. Per the woman, Philips started a sexually abusive relationship with her when she was 15. https://thinkprogress.org/moore-study-course-vison-forum-135402ed8816/

tkhayes 348 #170 November 30, 2017 QuoteHowever, in Papadopoulos's case we have photo and video evidence contradicting Trump's claim. we have photo, video, audio, documentation etc contradicting many claims, but that has not actually changed anything, nor will it, given the current environment of truth not actually mattering to anyone about anything. I see the end of the republic being near.... ultimately the voters can fix it, but I do not hold much hope for that either.
