***She’s a thousand times more qualified than Trump, but she is still not qualified.

She is qualified, and so are many other people. We need to stop limiting our choices to career politicians.

Political experience is a bonus to someone aspiring to a position in politics... Some awareness of international diplomacy and wold affairs would be good too.

Maybe it's just me but 'would probably listen to advisors' on its own just isn't enough of a qualification for a presidential candidate for me.
That I even have to say that is a damning condemnation of the state of todays current field. :S

Ideally a candidate for President has a vision for the nation and is able to convince enough people to follow that vision. This is what Trump did. It’s a pretty scary reality and exposes a weakness in democracy.
Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

I think untempered vision is pretty dangerous. Understanding of how and why things currently work the way they do is an important trait to me in a leader. That way they don't inadvertently destroy important stuff (like the planet) by blindly charging towards how THEY naively think things should be.

What sounds good in your head and what resonates with people ('wouldn't it be nice if...') isn't always the best idea in the real world.
