So what? Lots of army officers have become president. Does that mean serving in the military is the same as being an elected politician? Lots of lawyers have become president, is working for a law firm the same as being an elected politician? Several scions of american aristocracy have become president, does that mean being born rich is the same as being an elected politician?

?? They are. There are lots of similarities, of course. But one world consists largely of elected officials that people have a say over. The other world is entirely private. That makes them different at a fundamental level.

I guess I still remember the days when media simply turned on the cameras stated facts without leading opinions or motives other than good ratings, integrity, and trust of their viewers.

It wasn't that long ago when most people realized that politicians were a bunch of suit (and pant suit) wearing crooks that you had to watch every moment and you would't buy a used car from. But then people got tired so now they pretend that one side is "The Party of the People" so now as long as you vote the correct side you've done your part.

The accusation was first made over a year ago, and the case has been in the works that whole time - and no comment from you. From a quick scan of this list https://www.forbes.com/sites/chasewithorn/2016/10/04/forbes-400-the-full-list-of-the-richest-people-in-america-2016/#7051eac622f4 the first person I got to in the movie industry was David geffen at number 73. Then George Lucas. At number 120. Its not exactly packed with moviestars
