Seriously, in the UN. Because they would not want to cast any vote that would undermine the death penalty. USA would not even abstain. They felt they needed to be on record as a No vote.

There's an Internet "law" (Poe's Law) that states that without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers or viewers as a sincere expression of the parodied views.

Perhaps we need a variant on this (Trumpoe's law?) that would state that it is impossible to create a parody of Trump's views - no matter how extreme - that he is unlikely to express.
