Phil1111 1,149 #1 October 4, 2017 The Justice Department is demanding that Facebook turn over information from three accounts that could provide access to the personal details of thousands of activists who expressed interest in anti-Trump rallies. The department obtained search warrants targeting three Facebook accounts that were used to organize Inauguration Day protests against Donald Trump, the ACLU said late Thursday. But accessing those accounts would provide information on thousands of other users who "liked" an anti-Trump Facebook page, the group explained. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/feds-demand-facebook-share-information-anti-trump-protesters-n805801

quade 4 #3 October 4, 2017 There is good and bad in this attempt, mostly bad and a horrible abuse of power, but the "good" part is the DOJ isn't just asking for the information from the NSA (which could almost assuredly instantly provide it if pressed). The other "good" part is the public demonstration of the idiocy of the President in driving the DOJ asking for it. Not like we need ANOTHER example, but holy shit. Trump is without a doubt the absolute worst "winner" I think I've ever seen.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
gowlerk 2,198 #4 October 4, 2017 Jefferson Beauregard Sessions seems to embody all that is wrong with Alabama. He comes by it honestly. Talk about "heritage". QuoteHe was born in Selma, Alabama, on December 24, 1946,[1] the son of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions, Jr., and the former Abbie Powe.[2] He was named after his father, who was named after his grandfather, who was named after Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederate States of America,[3] and P. G. T. Beauregard, the Confederate general who oversaw the bombardment of Fort Sumter, starting the American Civil War.[4]Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
