JerryBaumchen 1,385 #1 November 21, 2017 Hi folks, I got a call this afternoon that Bob Edwards passed away last week. When I made my first jump in Feb '64, Bob was the Chief Instructor on the dz; he had about 35 jumps at the time. He became one of my best friends for too many years to count. He was a weekend jumper & had a little over a 1000 jumps. He made his last jump about 25 yrs ago. For the last 15 yrs or so, he & I would get together for lunch, about every 3-6 months. I last had lunch with him about 6 weeks ago & he seemed in good health. He was 78, so at that age, what happens, happens. RIP old friend, Jerry Baumchen

I'll be giving Thanks this week, to the ones I know that are still with us.
