csp 0 #1 Posted September 2, 2019 I recently shipped my rig and the shipment was rescheduled till after a 3-day weekend. The tracking said it was "Loaded on delivery vehicle" for 3 days. I don't know if those trucks are insulated or what temperature they reach in Georgia 90 degree weather. Needless to say, I'm concerned about the integrity of my rig after that. RiggerLee 61 #2 September 2, 2019 It'll be fine. If you don't want it I'll take it. Ship it to me and it can sit in a truck for three more days. Lee
DougH 270 #3 September 5, 2019 It will be just fine. It isn't best practice to leave a rig in a hot trunk or car, but if I had to pull a number out of my ass I would have to say that close to 100% of rigs get exposed to similar conditions multiple times during their service life. 3 days of it is hardly a concern.

DougH 270 #5 September 10, 2019 (edited) If my memory is correct, and I am looking at the right PIA service bulletin, that had a very limited impact on civilian sport containers. But your point is well taken. https://www.pia.com/images/rocketlauncher/PDF/SERVICE_BULLETINS/20160711ZodiacBS_Atom-25-002-3_stickycorduraincontainer.pdf Edited September 10, 2019 by DougH

Deimian 43 #7 September 11, 2019 The same happened to SunPath https://www.sunpath.com/wp-content/uploads/SPSB004.pdf But those were exceptions more than 15 years ago
