Maybe this will work out into another impeachment charge.

Ya know? That's kind of a funny thing.

How many articles of impeachment could the House bring?

Felony campaign finance misdeeds? Cohen went to prison for them, Trump is an 'unindicted co-conspirator.' The only reason Mueller didn't charge him was because of the opinion of the Justice Dept that a sitting president can't be indicted.

Tax evasion? There's a fair amount of indications of that.

Money laundering? Again, strong indications of that.

Fraud? Trump U settled the lawsuit, several states were pursuing charges until Trump bribed the state's Attorneys General.

Bribery? See above.

Sexual assault? Lots of accusations. Gotta wonder what info about Trump was in Epstein's safe.

The list could be pretty long.

Bingo.

There are now reports coming out that the attack had nothing to do with Iran, nukes or terrorism.

No. Shit.

I honestly thought it was because Trump was either bored or the Iranian had said something mean about Trump on social media over Christmas, but I don’t think that at any point did anyone with half a clue ever think it might have been for anything near a legitimate reason.

It was all about getting R Senators to 'owe' Trump in advance of the Impeachment 'trial' in the Senate.

I'm not sure I buy that. So far, even the moderate Republicans have almost exclusively shown themselves willing to put party before principle when it comes to Trump. The chances that the kind of hard-liners who would be gunning for Suleimani would ever consider siding with the Dems to remove an R president from office are as close to zero as its possible to get.

In fact the way they've handled the situation is one of the few things recently that's bought any criticism of him from within the party.

I am pretty sure that I read a news article where Trump said that was precisely his calculation (he needed to keep them on his side)

Yep - two completely different ideas.  Two completely different meanings.

The most basic is that what you say you are quoting is three sentences.

What you wrote and are claiming is a quote from me is only ONE sentence.

I do want to give you props, however, you did use some of the same words in the three sentences.  So - I will give you that.

Yup, like I said. Keep it up.
