I don't understand the reasoning behind Gov Kemp's decision to keep the beaches open.

The churches have been closed. Our last service was 8 Mar and the schools were closed the week before.

"One south Georgia church is ignoring the order.The overwhelming number of churches across Georgia are obeying the shelter-in-place order. No more than 10 people are allowed together, so many churches are putting their services online."

I just thank God that Stacey Abrams is not our governor and HRC is not our president.

I don't know John.  Tell you what I do know...those 3 states have the highest number of fatalities.  They obviously mishandled their state's affairs.

The mayor of NYC was encouraging people to support the local economy by going out to bars and restaurants until shortly before shutting them down. Mistakes were made by many local officials of every type.

They each went "shelter at home" 10 - 12 days BEFORE Georgia did, and closed their beaches.  These are things within the control of the governor.

I read an interesting article in the last day or two that in part hypothesizes that the reason Spain and Italy were hit so much harder than France and England is in part because their social habits include far closer person-to-person embraces. The French do little air kisses, the Spaniards and Italians embrace each other warmly.

Makes sense to me. Doesn't mean it's true ("makes sense to me" is how directional news agencies sell their narratives)
